There is not a single part of Sainsbury's that Finance does not play an active role in. Our teams help to support the commercial decision-making process at all levels of our business as well as managing our external relationships with investors. We also work closely with all teams to manage costs, improve margins and maximise revenue across all of our product ranges. We control risk through our internal audit team, look after the funding of our business and our colleague pensions. We’re committed to developing the skills of our colleagues and that’s why some roles even come with full sponsorship to complete your CIMA, ACCA or AAT accountancy qualifications. As well as accountancy, our Finance teams also include Procurement and Operational Efficiency, both areas that play a strategic role in managing our business costs.
